A fantastic evening of live stand-up comedy featuring David Eagle, Eddy Midgley and Nina Gilligan!

Get ready for a superb night of live stand-up comedy as RockCentral Promotions brings three award-winning acts to Chapel Street Arts Centre.

Opening the show is David Eagle, an inventive comedian and musician whose quick-fire storytelling, sharp observations and occasional comedy songs have made him one of the most distinctive acts on the circuit. David won Edinburgh’s Spirit of the Fringe Award and Best Variety Show at Leicester Comedy Festival, and has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and Rosie Jones’s Disability Comedy Extravaganza.

Joining him is rising star Eddy Midgley. Winner of Hot Water Comedy Club Comedian of the Year 2024 and Best Breakthrough Act at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Eddy combines sharp writing, cheeky delivery and relatable stories about money, modern life and growing up in today’s Britain.

Headlining the evening is the multi-award-winning Nina Gilligan. Warm, outrageous and effortlessly funny, Nina mixes razor-sharp observations with an engaging, larger-than-life stage presence. She is a Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year winner, Chortle Best Act winner and was named Comedians’ Comedian in 2025.
