About the Event

Release! is a brand new music festival coming to a village near you!! It will occupy fields in the beautiful village of Morley, opposite Breadsall Priory, just 10 minutes outside of Heanor & Ilkeston.

The Dog House been advised that due to the ever changing Covid threat levels, the surge in variants and the infancy of their festival business; the insurance has been withdrawn. Without this they are unable to hold the event and have had to cancel for 2021 but are planning to come back in 2022.

It will feature an amazing line up of live music for a whopping 10 hours!  There will be something for everyone from tribute acts, a SKA band, a reggae band, solo artists, a saxophonist and DJs.

It will be a day for everyone, covering a whole range of music genres.

The festival is centred around our amazing pop up tipi bar serving all your favourite drinks. 

Enjoy a drink at the bar and watch the amazing acts on our full sound & light stage.

Equally take a seat on a haybale (hopefully under the sun!) and relax and listen to some of the fab artists who have come from far and wide.
