Gardening Talk with Darren Rudge.

Darren is a multi-award-winning garden designer, broadcaster, lecturer, and garden writer.

Darren is the permanent gardening expert for BBC WM in the West Midlands. Known as “the Laughing Gardener” he was nominated for the garden media guild awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018 for his novel and inspirational approaches to gardening
issues and problems.

His aim throughout his career is to have fun and inspire people to interact with their green spaces; enhancing their own self-worth and well- being and truly enjoys Imparting his knowledge to help and inspire others and loves nothing else
than to share his passion for plants.

His career has seen him become a professional associate with the Royal Horticultural Society and a judge at National shows, a recommended Royal Horticultural Society speaker and mentors school children through the green plan it Challenge
run by the Royal Horticultural Society; aimed at getting children involved in gardening and living healthier lifestyles.
