Russian born pianist Sergei Podobedov headlines a concert to celebrate the 25^th Anniversary of the twinning of Belper with Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA. Amongst his programme, Sergei will be playing a brand new piece based up the 'mill connections' between the two towns. Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin will complete the set.

Sergei has performed in concert halls across the world. His latest recital was at Haddon Hall where his performances were described as “outstanding” and “stunning”.

The show will open with a musical celebration of Derbyshire featuring Sue MacFarlane, Sue Reaney and Pete Castle.
